First an example scenario. Just to draw a picture without getting too personal.
You are out and about and you see an advert for a dog walker. Just what you need. Your little guy needs to get some of his energy out and you have a busy life. You ring the dog walker up and agree a schedule. For weeks all seems great.
Then one day you are driving past the park and you see the dog walker dragging your beloved pooch behind him. You pull over and grab your dog and sack him on the spot.
A few week later you see an advert for a dog walking company and a few people say that they are really good so you give them a ring. You talk to the owner and agree to give them a try and organise a little care package and a daily walk. The owner of the company turns up you have a chat and even though you are little worried about the previous experience you go with it. Pooch goes for a nail clipping and a tidy up and a walk.
Later that day a knock on the door and you open it to find the person who dragged your dog through the park a few weeks ago with your dog. You cannot believe the audacity of this person who is now employed by the company you have just trusted to look after your pooch.
What do you do in this situation? Then the second question “what would you do if instead of a dog the scenario was about you child?”
Honestly I invite you to email me (click the little envelope below) what you would do. I am interested. I need some guidance on what to do next.
